The Employment Connection is designed to serve the needs of both job seekers and employers throughout Tulare County.
There are currently three Employment Connection Centers in Tulare County—one in Visalia, one in Porterville, and one
in Tulare, as well as satellite locations throughout the County.
The Employment Connection is more than a physical location. It is a system and a philosophy.
It connects customers with those who can provide the employment-related services they need in a customer-friendly manner.
The Employment Connection is an employment and training system that brings together a myriad of partner agencies and services.
It represents an opportunity to receive many services in one location or one access point.
It is convenience and assistance at one stop.
Services at the Employment Connection are geared to the two customer groups — job seekers and employers.
In fact there are two centers in one—The Business Resource Center and the Job Resource Center.
Staff in each is specifically trained on the services and information available to their customer.

The Tulare County Employment Connection System will offer universal access, seamless,
and professional services to the community in a respectful manner that encourages job creation,
skill development, and employment information. Services will be provided in a collaborative
manner maximizing effectiveness, while minimizing duplication.
