Business owners and managers need quick, accurate answers to their questions.
|
|
|
We believe that if we are able to provide them with the answers they seek then we will be
able to have a direct impact on their overall performance & profitability - thus averting
any potential layoffs or closures.
|
|
|
In keeping with that philosophy, we created our Business Resource Centers to
provide a full range of services to the business community in Tulare County.
Specifically designed to meet the needs of local businesses, each of our Business
Resource Centers are equipped with a resource library, interview rooms, training
facilities, and computer access.
|
|
|
Each center is staffed by one of our Business Resource Specialists and they
work closely with our business partners to assist local business with their
needs.
|
|
|
For ease of access, our services are grouped into five "themes" and we work with
the respective partner(s) noted to provide the services requested.

|
| HIRING & TRAINING
|
|
The Employment Connection is Tulare County's employment & training
system. It allows us to bring together a myriad of partner agencies and services to assist
job seekers & the business community.
|
|
|
|
|
| FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
|
|
A variety of financing programs are available to businesses. The Business
Finance Center allows us to leverage those sources in an effort to meet the
financial needs expressed by businesses.
|
|
|
| TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
|
|
All businesses can use outside assistance at some point. The Small
Business Development Center helps us provide practical information and guidance that business
owners can use to establish goals and achieve success.
|
|
|
|
|
| INCENTIVE ZONES
|
|
Tax credits and other incentives are available to some businesses
operating within our state and federally designated zones. The Incentive Zones encourage
business development and allow us to assist eligible businesses.
|
|
|
| LOCAL SERVICES
|
|
We believe that a truly "business friendly" community helps a company go
about its business in the most efficient manner. Therefore, we actively promote the resources
that have been created by our cities & county to assist business.
